Masmak is a squat mud-brick fortress in the old centre of Riyadh. In 1902 the young Abdulaziz Al Saud took it in a night raid, the first step towards the unification of the Kingdom. Today it is a small museum. Combine it with the nearby souqs and the National Museum.
